I love exploring nature, the air, sun, sea, sky, trees, plants, and animals and all their healing energies. Always giving me a sense of space, peace and balance, where I can recharge and clear my mind.
I have a mixed heritage, British East Asian, encompassing different ways of living, thinking, seeing and relating to our inner and outer worlds. I understand the nuances of navigating different cultures and both the positive and negative impact it has on our wellbeing.
I've lived in different cultures and contemplative, buddhist communities around the world specifically in England, France, Hong Kong, India, Nepal, and Portugal.
Learning how to integrate spirituality into daily living, working through conflicting values and beliefs of modern living and what it means to be human, teaching me that there are other ways of experiencing what success, happiness, acceptance, love and family can be.
I have learnt a lot from all and am grateful to have had these experiences and to have spent time with wise, insightful humans, doing their best in embodying compassion, kindness, patience and unconditional love.
I have over 8 years experience which includes working in a low cost counselling organisation Tact North, NHS Direct, volunteer counsellor whilst participating in long term meditation retreats and my private practice successfully supporting many people from different backgrounds with various issues.
I bring the theory, knowledge, experience and counselling skills I've learnt from my studies and work, as well as the insights and wisdom from all the people I've met and learnt from during my travels and living abroad.
Making a beneficial difference, supporting and connecting with people has always been a part of me and I continue this in my private practice.
If you are ready to change, I would love to support you on your journey!
