My name is Karen Yuen and I am a BACP registered counsellor. I was born, grew up in London, UK within a diverse and multicultural community. I love exploring nature, the air, sun, sea, sky, trees, plants, and animals and all their healing energies. Always giving me a sense of space, peace and balance, where I can recharge and clear my mind from city life.
I have a mixed heritage British East Asian. I understand the nuances of different cultures and how it influences our perspective and interactions with ourselves, with others and the world around us. Encompassing different ways of living, thinking, seeing and relating to our inner and outer worlds.
I have lived in different cultures and communities around the world: India, Hong Kong, Nepal, Portugal and France. I have learnt a lot from all and am grateful to have had these experiences and to have spent time with wise, insightful everyday humans, doing their best in embodying compassion, kindness, patience and unconditional love.
